You don't have to convince me you're more than your charges.

I'm a Fort Wayne native and third-generation North Side High School graduate, Class of 2011.
I stayed in town after high school and worked my way through college, then moved to Minneapolis in 2017 to attend one of the country's top law schools on a scholarship. I came home with my Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota in 2020 and was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2021. I've been a defense attorney since.
I don't shy away from a challenge when I believe in the cause, no matter how difficult the circumstances.
We all deserve a vigorous advocate when facing the justice system. As your lawyer, that's what I am.
I'm committed to paying an exceptional amount of attention to each case and am not accepting new clients at this time. I should have availability beginning late Spring of 2025. Feel free to reach out below for further information.
Omni hearings are usually for scheduling purposes. You need to attend, but there's likely no reason to stress if you have kept up with your pretrial release conditions.
I'll call you before the hearing to walk you through it. Make sure I have an up-to-date number by messaging me below. If we were not able to speak beforehand, it's okay. I'll introduce myself to you in person the morning of your hearing.
If you violate a pretrial release condition before your Omni hearing (by missing an appointment or testing positive, for example), call me immediately.
If you're asking, the answer is yes. You should report to pretrial services any time you're unsure; don't wait for me to say so. Taking risks usually results in jail time.
Allen County Pretrial Services
100 W Columbia St, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
We can arrange for you to review your discovery in person at my office before your Pretrial Conference. If a confidential informant was involved, we need to talk about this further. Contact me requesting to discuss discovery and we'll schedule a meeting.
Whether the Prosecutor and Judge are willing to consider treatment depends on your circumstances and the charges. You and I need to have an honest conversation about your needs, abilities, and the realistic odds of incorporating treatment into any resolution.
I've watched good people struggle with addiction all my life. There's no reason to feel uncomfortable bringing this up. Please do so immediately.
Yes, genuinely and to the very best of my ability. That answer will not change.
Part of my role is advising you on the realistic odds of success at trial. If those odds are low, we have to talk about it so that you can make an informed decision. No matter the circumstances, you will have an authentic advocate each step of the way.
You need to call me. I'm not law enforcement and I won't arrest you if you reach out.
I'm sometimes able to help clients avoid jail time or arrange for a quicker release when they contact me right away about a new warrant. At the very least, I can advise you on how to best handle the situation. That's what I'm here for.
I usually can't respond to loved ones because of confidentiality rules. I'll review your message for helpful information, but you probably won't get a response. That does not mean I have forgotten about your person.
